Some of my negative film from 1978 I had forgotten about. Pentax MX and I think the M100/4 Definitely have the film look. Kodak.

I have images of larger flowers to contribute. Some of night flowering cactus i think it might be Hylocereus undatus and of gingery thing Heliconia rostrata i think. Early morning light on those cactus flowers. D-FA 50mm F2.8 MACRO.

OK

Trying to think positive here. With temps going into the 40s for at least the next week.

Is it OK to start thinking spring?

Here's one from last year.

Super Tak 135 3.5 on an extension tube or 2.

Not sure if I've posted these before, but while I"m in the back pages of my flickr shots...

Beebalm. Common here in summer, this one about 3 inches tall

Spider Lily. Fairly common on roadsides in places

Not sure what, it's in the yard in summer.

Indian Blanket. All over the roadsides in summer.

Brown Eyed Susans. Patches like this everywhere you look in early summer

I th ink this is Paper White Narcissus. K30, 135mm Makinon, extension tube.

Blooms all over the Mayhaw tree, I thought maybe some raindrops might make a good shot or three. Makinon 135mm again and 50mm extension tube

Close up crop of a Mayhaw bloom, Makinon 135mm, 50mm extension tubes. Flash used on all of these, ISO 100, f16.

Daffodil. I was surprised I could get the whole thing in the frame, Makinon 135mm again, 30mm extension tube, flash, same settings.

Was shutting down from a day of shooting backyard birds with the 560mm from the second floor deck.
It was getting dark and I looked down at the flower patch and saw this interesting light on the patch so I pulled the trigger.
Taken at a distance of about 40-50 feet or so.

One of the first flowers to open every year, the Spring Beauty. All over the back yard, this one got a visit from a bee while I was trying to get a few shots.

This wildflower was growing at the base of a tree - I'm seeing quite a few of them this year. It's about 1-1/2" across. Can anyone ID it? (shot with a Canon p&s):
