I think that's Gaillardia grandiflora commonly called "blanket flower." It's a popular garden flower in the sunflower family (GDYC) and there are many varieties (AKA cultivars).

A naturally very pretty flower.



Focal Length 50mm, Manual Exposure Mode, no flash and used CWA Metering. I studied this image for some time and came to the conclusion that it looked magnificent and therefore I did not do anything to it PPE with the exception of downsizing. I am finding myself doing this more and more and thereby appreciating my equipment and its abilities more than before.
