Deep Blue Flowers

Taken at a local Nursery with a Pentax K-50 using a Tamron 28-200mm lens. I've found that nurseries are a good place to photograph flowers.

Pleasing composition and wonderful colors. That Tamron, for all it's a zoom, does very well with IQ and bokeh. I'll wager very few of us would have guessed such a lens had been used to capture that image.

Big Flowers on a Budget

Who says you have to have an expensive lens to take good flower pictures? This was taken with Pentax K2000 and a Sears 28mm lens I bought on eBay for $13.00! I thought it was remarkably sharp.

Thanks for the kind words. This lens has proven itself over and over in the past few years. I bought it at a yard sale for $15.00!
