No dahlias here yet, these were taken in Calcutta in February where their "spring" flowers were our late summer/fall flowers.

Lilacs almost fully open in this area, creating nearby auras of delightfully fragrant air.

A photographer friend said he liked this tulip image because he couldn't immediately tell what it was and he likes photos with a bit of mystery.

It was captured with a handheld Pentax K-S2 and SMC Macro 1:4/100.

Not a flower seen growing in backyard gardens here in MessyChewBits, and with morphology unlike anything that does. For me it's a greenhouse exotic, and happy I am to see good images of it.
