We had a huge crop of crimson clover this year - unfortunately they were crowding out the bluebonnets at this field. Taken end of March with an old Canon p&s:

More crimson clover. This was taken about 3 weeks ago, and the flowers are totally gone now.

I love to see those wild columbine as well. There's an area near where dense clusters of them have come up just about every year, but so far I've not been able to see anything breaking through the soil.
