Blooms, buds, bugs and bokeh - any combination of these elements seems to attract photographers.

Butterfly, I think it's a nymphalid.

A step-back-a-ways image that includes bigger flowers. The house seems to be abandoned. It's on the edge of a recently constructed multiple-circle (roundabout) system. I suspect the property had to be purchased in its entirety in order the get the sliver necessary for the roadwork, and now the town has other priorities in its budget than tearing down the house, associated barn and other outbuildings. In any case, the front yard is currently sprouting a lovely batch of black-eyed Susan.
