Water lily & pollinators Another English language inscrutable = pollen but pollinate or pollinator. There's probably some rule about a noun versus a verb from which a noun is derived, made up just to cover this case and a handful of others.

I left a lot of surround on this image because I thought the blossom looked nice shining within the expanse of dark background.
