Contest Win a Pentax 50mm: "Kerrowdown Giveaway"

Just a bit of fun with a 50mm F1.8 lens up for grabs at the end.

A wee competition where you submit your images, of what you best feel portrays... "The Kerrowdown".

It will run for a week starting Monday , submit as many images as you want, no limits, it's just for fun. No rules, just it's as long as it's taken with Pentax kit.

At the end the week, I'll pick the image that best appeals to me and the winner receives the lens direct from Adam at Pentax Forums.

Good luck to all, enjoy the taking part.

Thor's brother, yes, but not the movie or the comic either if that's what you're thinking. I'm a mythology buff. I've always liked the Norse myths. My other cat is Lilith after the Babylonian/Hebrew myths. I've always loved the Lilith/Lilitu myths and thought that name was a good one for a black cat. It suits her. She's totally great with me but she can be an evil thing when she's crossed. Like Adam's Lilith she refuses to be submissive to anyone. She's very independent. Loki is named after the actual Norse trickster God because I wanted a name that was mythic like hers and preferably an "L" name also. It's Lilith and Loki. As it turned out I could not have named the mischievous, dominant, little brat any better had I tried. He so totally embodies the spirit of that figure in Norse mythology it's absurd. He's a total temper tantrum throwing little prankster. He's constantly jealous (of Lily) constantly getting into scrapes, and constantly starting things he can't finish. He can be very loving but he's also capable of being a little hellion, and I don't mean that in a cute way, unfortunately. I dearly love the little mutt but there are days when he comes thisclose to being hung up by his little kitten toes, grin...

How could The Kerrowdown possibly not like Tigger?

Pentax K20D, Pentax-A 135mm f/2.8, Sigma 52mm Achromatic Lens, Pentax AF280T flash

But I think this is what best represents The Kerrowdown: an old manual Pentax lens

(in this case, mounted on a film body)

Pentax K20D, Rikenon XR 28mm f/2.8 mounted on an inverter ring, uncropped, built-in flash.
