I am in. I am going to really push the boat out with my learning process. I am going to at least try to complete the month using my SMC Pentax-M 50 f1.4. The lens that made me stay with the Pentax system, because I always yearned for one in the late 60's, and when I came to China in 2008 I couldn't bear to part with the one I had bought dead cheap off ebay.

I guess I'll try this for the first time. While I'm tempted to use my Sigma 70mm Macro I think I'll step out on a limb and use the Vivitar Series1 90-180 Flat field zoom. I hope I can keep up and find some interesting things to shoot every day.

I'm in, hopefully I'll get to be more mobile this month. I'm not sure which lens, but I'm thinking about using my DA 55-300mm.

Thinking of joining this challenge again after not participating for a very long time.

Am I allowed to use a Ricoh GR? Or do I have to use a DSLR for this?

Absolutely permitted - we've had a couple of GR participants in the last few months. Welcome and enjoy the challenge!

Since I'm now retired (yay and hooray) I'll definitely have the time (except for some jury duty stuff in the middle of the month). I'll be using the new DA 20-40mm and my new K-3!

@salty, happy retirement and I long for the day when I can post the same thing - it's near but not near enough.

Well with little fanfare, I decided on next month's lens. I'm shooting with my K20d and the Tamron Adaptall BBAR 44A 28-70 Macro f3.5-4.5. Not the most terrific lens but one I've rarely used.

Hmm. I usually drop out if I do this challenge back to back. But since I am getting older and time seems to be unwilling to move backwards I will join April. That new TC is out and I have a bad case of LBA or TCBA?? so I will use my 60-250 and try to forget that shiny new thing. I have no plan or limits of any kind other than try to complete the month. Most likely I will shoot a bunch of trees

Hey! For years that was my standard walkabout lens with my SP1000

@ Tim, I can identify the last 3 months b4 I retired actually lasted about 10 months. It's sorta like at Christmas when you were a little kid and the parents said you couldn't go downstairs until 6:30 and you woke up at 4:30.

Right. My experience on the weekend following four weeks of telephoto-ness has decided me: I'm going normal with my Soligor 35mm. Having taken a few photos this morning with the Tak (none of them earth-shattering), I have now affixed the Soligor to my K-30, ready to go.

I'm getting excited. I took a couple of down-and-dirty hand held test shots with the Helios on the K-01. First time using the green button for stop down metering. Pleased.

f/4.0

f/8.0

It is either that or the 07 Mount Shield lens for the Q/Q7, which has not had the SI treatment by anyone yet. Requests?
