Sorry to hear that news, Rod. I never met Bruce personally, but he seemed like a nice bloke from his posts on PF.

For those in the Single In group who didnt get to "meet" Bruce, he often shared photos of the gardens where he volunteered, and some amazing coastlines from near his home.

Very sorry to hear it. Sometimes those illnesses hang on longer than we can. There is no shame in giving in to rest and peace, but those left behind will be left with the burden of sadness and longing to see and touch and hear that person again. That's the hard part. Bruce is at rest, but remaining friends and family have to live in a world without him. It's hard to comprehend. We can only be grateful that we all have people in our lives that we love, and enjoy their friendship for as long as we can. Treasure every moment! and how nice that he had this hobby for us to look back on and imagine those fleeting moments. That is really special. <3

I read about this in the moderators forum. So sad to hear this about Bruce. I was sure he was going to win this one, against that awful disease. Rest in Peace Bruce. Farewell to an awesome man, and friend. Condolences to Pam and the rest of his family.
