Game Single in May 2014

Almost at the end of my first Single in month. I think I will skip May, try again in June

I'm going to try the Helios 44-2, as I've not used it much on the K-3 yet. May in London should provide good colours/light for this lens.

Well, it's April 28th and not to sound like Debbie Downer I'm but out for May and likely for a while after that. I'm burnt. I'm not happy with my photography of late and I don't have the creativity lately. So, I'm taking a break for a while. I was intending to get into the single in film challenge but my issues with motivation and the big flat spot where I've landed aren't going to be helped by shooting film at this point. So..I'll see April through but I'm out for a while. I'll keep looking in though. Best of luck to all of you who continue.

I'm definitely in for May with my Spotmatic and S-M-C Tak 55/1.8.

Trying to figure out if I want to do a daily digital photo as well though. If so, it would probably be with my GR Digital 3 -- which slightly predates Ricoh's purchase of Pentax, but hopefully is still alright -- since I don't want to be carrying around two full-sized cameras every day for a month.

"Taken with a Pentax or Ricoh camera..." is all it says at the start of each month's thread, so I'd think your GR would be fine.

Hmmmm, I am kind of re-thinking not doing May now....

Not sure what lens to pick though, since I've just done a month with a std lens. Maybe the Q + 03? Or the K-5II + Sigma 10-20 or Sigma 105mm? Any thoughts? Not sure I want to carry around the DSLR all month though, I am pretty lazy!

Do you have the adaptor for K mount lenses on a Q? Then you'd be sorted.

Well, having not been at work (what with Easter, ANZAC Day, and the dreaded lurgi) to collect the travelling Industar even had it arrived in the past week, I have affixed my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 for the month to come.

I'm in this month. ME and the 77. God I love this glass, it's slowly replacing my 100 for Most Used.

Here's something to ponder: would the 43 Special on an M mount body be valid? If you think about it, third party lenses are allowed. And I think that Samsung twin of the K20D has made it in here.

I'm in. Usually I try to pick a totally different lens than the month before. Since April was the DA 20-40mm ltd, that would usually mean a significantly longer prime, but I was hoping my Q7 would get here before the month started, but it's still on back order from Pentax. Maybe I should have gone with basic black, but I wanted metallic green and brown. Oh well. At least my grand jury duty will be finished by the end of the week. Huzzah! Huzzah! I know it was my civic duty and all but a whole month of listening to lawyerspeak is enough to give anyone the willies. Any way since I am now the proud owner of a new-to-me DA 35mm macro I'll go with that. Hopefully by the time June rolls around I will have the new Q7 to play with.

NaCl(it will be interesting to see how the Raynox 150 works on it)H2O

Considering joining in after a several month hiatus, with the aim to photograph nothing but vehicle grills, with an emphasis on those with character. Trying to think of a way to make it slightly more challenging, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

Body would be a K-50, but I'm unsure if I'll be using the M 28/3.5 or my trusty M 50/1.4
