I really wanted to get it closer to the horizon, but the twilight and haze washed it out until it was well up in the sky,
still, worth the effort

WHK1992, I think I see you hiding back to the left there!

The last eclipse a few months ago was in that time period for me and since I live in a valley surrounded by mountains, there was no way I was seeing it. The moon was pretty high in the sky and the eclipse well underway when it became visible at my house in Upstate NY on Sunday. The clouds moved in soon after the eclipse became total so we were fortunate to see it. While lunar eclipses aren't all that rare, lunar eclipses, meteor showers, northern lights, etc are often missed due to overcast skies around here.

Here's my efforts from the other night (x-posted from 300mm plus thread) .

Damn, that blood moon was dim, this one is a few stacked ISO 200 shots. I had more shots but got bored manually aligning the frames - Photoshop wouldn't align them.
