Great shot ! You must have hiked for hours to that perfect spot :P[COLOR="Silver"]
Thank you.
Actually I got there after about an hour of driving on a 4x4 trail. Much easier!

Taken at two different times after moon rise...

The 2nd one had a HDR Merge treatment in Lr6 (5 Images bracketing merged). And I also had to fix lots of CA's.
from 1/5 to 1/250, ISO 800, f6.3

Moon Oct 28 and 29

Taken from an empty parking lot in the middle of town. Two teenage boys walked past and one said, "Wow that is a big lens, I know that is expensive." and his friend looked at him like "Dude, you actually know something?" at that He told his friend, "She has to have a nice camera on there too!" I showed them the moon shot in the view screen. At which the second teen said..."That is so over my head but it is cool" They said "Thanks for letting us see it, have a nice evening." and went on their way.

On the first Moon photo the moon was more gray but on he next day I guess the atmosphere made it appear very yellow. What does that? Although we had some rain, our area has just experienced a large wildfire so maybe the stuff is still floating around in the air.

You're getting some camera shake in your shots, what settings/setup are you using?

hmmm... camera shake... I did not use my remote with this and I know that I had SR turned off due to the tripod...
