It is November which in MN means deer hunting early in the month and nothing but clouds later. Although we have a a few clear nights it has been super windy. I may go take some shots and see if I can get a 300mm pixel shift shots of it tonight as it should be clear and less windy. Also unlike my last time shooting it we won't have a front coming in and the temp isn't suppose to change a ton so there is a good chance I might get something that isn't a hot mess.

I went out last night for full moon eve. Kind of struggled with my location and second guessing. Wound up here at this closed campground and marina. I wanted to be farther over to my left more to put the moon on top of the Dillon Pinnacles formation but I would have had to drive around the lake and got lazy so this was how the positioning worked out.

Here's one from Sunday night, 11/29/2020. Pentax K-5, HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm 4-5.8. Nothing special; just seeing what I could do that evening.

Thank you both! I don't hate it but it just wasn't what I was after. A fine plan B.

I'm seeing double here; maybe I need to get my vision checked.

Must have been a lot of effort going into that one. It made me go, "Oooh!". Fantastic result, entirely plausible, doesn't look gaudily post-processed. Dynamic range really wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
