So many people who never turn the lens hood around from the stored position.
As an engineer, this bothers me a great deal. I wonder how many people actually understand what the hood does. Of course, there are times you want the hood off for creative purposes, but since I'm not so creative I attach the hood in 99% of the time

I used to catch the bus to Waterloo station to go home. In winter, this would be after dark. As the bus crossed the river, you could see the twinkling of flashes going off in the pods on the London Eye as people tried to photograph the Houses of Parliament and so on. Given, that at that date, many of them would be shooting film, I dare say they were disappointed with the results when they came back from the minilab.

I think the Fuji shooter just got this camera from his brother who gave it to him after buying a new Pentax K-1.

I don't think that is as bad as those folks who use a flash to shoot the moon, reasoning that if it is dark outside a flash should help, which of course it would if it were powerful enough. :>)

Or the folks using the flash in the nosebleed section of a sporting event.

Can you believe the 'tog' in the back? He must have some mindbending lightbending device attached to his camera, pointing it at that angle...

Just kidding, there was more to see and capture than what I had focussed on

Same event, some smartphones and some bigger cameras in the crowd

And the shutter release delayed suitably to compensate for the propagation time.

That brings to mind another technical blooper.

BMW bought that Rolls Royce and then discovered they had only bought the factory. The other Rolls Royce, that does the turbines, owned the name.

So BMW had to go back and make another purchase to be able to use the name and logo on cars.
