The good thing about snow is , you don't get dirty when you lie on your back for an image.

Now here is something you don't see every day any more. A pro photographer (I assume) using Pentax 67iis on a photoshoot with an assistant handing him a freshly loaded body every time he finished a roll. He didn't even have to collapse his own tripod...

That used to be the way. I you wanted a quick start in photography you found that guy and offered to be his assistant. You spent a couple years getting coffee and changing film while you learned the ropes.

Now you just read a bunch of suspect opinions on the internet and declare yourself a pro.

Client on a trip

Highway 60 moose gawkers (and photographers).

Another from 2013, another client.

Just in case you're wondering, I aways have clients sign model releases. If they don't, I don't provide them with a digtal album of the trip. Only one trip has refused. She was a lawyer. "You could use these images for anything."

She was under the illusion that her images would be useful to "anything".

Here she is, she's not recognizable so I'm good. I guess she thought pictures of her backside would be preferable to something showing her face.

Reveals your age ... I guess.
There is the generation that grew up with only or mainly books and those that grew up with computers (1980's), internet (1990's) , smartphones (2000's)...

Northern lights

Watching and photographing the northern lights in Norway from the stern of a ship.

My K3 II picked it up easily, did see quite some people struggle.
The weather was bit disappointing , mostly cloudy.... not ideal.
