Actually, he is.

He is my son and heir.
I failed miserably in training him the Pentax way. I'M SORRY!

Here's a Nikon and a Canon photographer shooting the same event.

What is the Nikon shooter holding? Water bottle? The must be helpful in holding the camera steady!

It's strange to see a female photographer holding a camera the "right way" around for a portrait shot. I've noticed they usually they have it with the grip at the bottom in what looks a very uncomfortable (and less stable) manner.

Ah, a Canon shooter with no lens hood - normality is restored!

In Canon-land I think it's just their L lenses hat come with hoods so in many cases they don't even have them to keep mounted backwards. I wonder if Canonites don't use them because they don't have them or if Canon doesn't bother supplying them because many people don't use them....

Hmmm that's exactly what I'm also doing. Somehow for me it feels uncomfortable and weird having the grip on top, so I usually grip the lens at the bottom.

I believe I have heard some debate on that topic. At the end of the day I say "do what works for you"
