All 3 of my kids started off with cameras when they were about 4 or 5 years old my oldest and youngest both have Pentax DSLR's now my boy who is the middle child has no interest so I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

That is cool!
My folks weren't that into photography what with snapping images in box cameras during the '60s and '70s but thankfully they were open to my photographic interests to help me with our first SLR in '79. It's been a love affair since then. And the older one gets, the one more appreciates any available image.
You done good.
Happy New Years to you and yours and to the rest of the PF fanbase.

and a Happy New Year to you, Jools, Hangman, & PFers. The only family member remotely interested in photography (besides my wife) is my 11 yr old niece, seen here while we were walking around Main St. I hope to move her up to a dslr someday, but for now she's happy with a little Canon PnS:

Nice ones, paulh.
Sounds like you gotta plan.
Just wait 'till they start hitting you up for fast primes.
It is all worth it, I guess. It was for me.

Taken at the New Year's Day Rose parade with the Traveling Nifty Fifty.

A real pro, nice guy, works for the local newspapers

This girl told me I should be careful because my lens was pointed into the sun. I recommended a hood.

Friendly folks all around

Guess what he took a picture of?

Film Pentaxian!

Back to the 80's. I bet his phone was huge too.

Use the hood man! Oh just setting up? OK.
