Phone camera shooters at the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, India. I do see someone carrying an SLR in the background. While I was here, a young man came up to me and me if he could hold my camera which was a little off-putting. He wanted to pretend to photograph the monument of Queen Victoria while his buddy took photos of him. I had to show him how to hold the camera and stood close by. But when he was finished he returned my camera, happy to have pictures to send his girlfriend! A friend who lives in the city thought I was reckless, but over two weeks there I found Calcutta a remarkably safe city compared to many I've visited.
