Thanks for viewing.

These were taken handheld AF with the DA300, 1.4TC and K1. Some cropping done so not real close-ups. I have found the DA300 and 1.4 HD TC does not focus properly on the K3 but works well on the K1.

As for the rain the saying here is it will rain, just don't know when.

Here is another.
Quite a handsome bird!

That’s a nice bird feeder. Such a cute scene with these two obviously enjoying it.

Thank you! Yes, the bird feeder(s) get visited a lot - throughout the day and the year.

Bluejays are quite common in my area. Most find them a nuisance but I think they're stunning.

What a beauty and a great shot! Looks like he is wearing a tag on his ankle. Is he an escapee perhaps?

Thank you for your kind words, @Deesquared! I used the Sigma 70-200 2.8 for this shot - a great lens, fast and super sharp. Yes, s/he is tagged, but in our tiny country a lot of birds are tagged. They're taken from the nest to be ringed and then put straight back again. Only species where the parents wouldn't accept the chicks anymore after human contact, they are left undisturbed, as well as the very common birds, I guess. It's not just us, humans, that are 'tagged', you know.

Nice to hear this about that little bird. And very nice work with your Sigma!

Thanks, @Deesquared, Yes, I find them quite attractive with their silver grey collar and their piercing grey/blue eyes. They're also quite greedy and acrobatic though. They come in flocks and finish every possible birdfeeder - however big or small - in no time.
