I'm sure they'll turn up but what's that white stuff?

starting with the little birds

now for the woodpeckers

this thread's incentive for me to start snapping photo's as the bald eagles and blue heron's go by, as well as when the coopers hawks start terrorizing the crows

That's the 4 letter word that shall not be mentioned before it's time. We've had frost on the ground the last few mornings...

I used to know people who lived near Oro Station 30 years ago.
I've been here 38 years, was his name Bob by chance ?

I think Fall is prime time for bird photography.

Even the Starlings look good

And I can't resist a Phoebe

I don't have one decent shot of a Phoebe, I see them all the time, but they never stop in my yard.... so you're one up on me.
Nice images.

I see several that visit my yard on a regular basis, soon I'll have feeders out and be getting more...nice job on the Downy Norm, I rarely get a change to snap a shot of those.

Here are a few from my yard. All in the yard, not wild ones in the woods... ok wild, but limited to in the yard...

Hummingbird of course, I think they're about gone though

Young female Bluebird in our birdbath

I put a nesting box in the front yard for Tufted Titmouse, a pair of Prothonotary Warblers took it over...

This wren got in the house, my mother held it for a minute so I could get a picture

Summer Tanager, never did find his nest...

Immature Bluebird ion the nesting box in the back yard. I built two of these, both have been used the past 2 years. This one was inhabited the day after I hung it on the post...

Nice! It really is a challenge to get detail in the plumage.
