some plump birds

Well the robin and the junco are sorta looking plump but I guess the morning dove looks about normal.

My small birds were absent as were the squirrels yesterday due to this guy having lunch on top of the feeder post's bird house.

Very nice capture of the hawk. A sharp shinned hawk feeds on the birds here, and I often find feathers from the juncos and bluejays in the yard.

Best Regards, Bob

Really like your shot of the Towhee. Looks mighty cool perched on the gazing ball and certainly makes for a different setting than most yard bird photos.

chipping sparrow; goldfinch and purple finch. Now and then the weather is fair, the birds are cooperative and I get lucky with shots like these.
