I had to go three pages in to get here.

Cloudy day so no eye light on this one.

Finches are back, and what I think is a female Blue Bunting.

I did replace the images, as originally posted they were too dark. I just tried them with both Safari and Firefox and they worked normally. Maybe try reloading the page.

Chipping Sparrow on a tombstone, my in-laws have a cemetery right behind their back yard

This bluebird took a power position, from my son's back porch

I've decided my shooting through the window is causing problems and photos look bad. So, I'm going to remove one section of the three sections of awning windows I have so I have a clear path to the feeders when I can't get outside.

Not a great shot, but good old thrushes are quite uncommon in England now - with a commensurate increase of snalls in our garden - this one was a brief visitor to out back yard, taking off as I fired off a burst on the K-3

At least you got him.

My new Manfrotto head will be here today, thus I'll have a lighter tripod to take out in the backyard before it rains this afternoon, and if it's not too had a rain, I can sit under the canopy my brother put up and stay hidden and dry. Maybe get some shots then.

crazy luck

Walking past the hemlocks in the yard and saw this small bird jumping around. Never expected to see a blue-headed vireo about 20 paces from the house. Read that they tilt their heads when looking for insects, perhaps it was considering that I might be a big bug by the way it was checking me out.

Best Regards, Bob

My Dogwood brings all the birds to the yard.

They all look a bit shabby because it was raining, we needed the rain badly.

Eastern Kingbird (a little surprised about this, but just a little)
