Yes David. On a good day we might see all of them on our place. The specials are the Golden Whistler and Olive Whistler - often heard in the bush not so often seen.

I’m wishing for the 55-300 PLM. My earlier model doesn’t cut it.
I have even thought of selling the siggy 150-500 to fund it, but I don’t think I can do it.

Not my yard; just been holidaying in Bowral NSW in a cottage with a pond;
KP, DA18-135, ISO800, f8, 1/800 (could have dropped the ISO given the shutter speed, but the shade was very dark as I was walking around...)
Cropped to only about 4% of original!!

I moved houses recently. I'm only a few blocks from the old place, but the yard bird composition is a little different. Goldfinch's galore.
