Some images from last year - I'm trying to get the backlog processed with the new season looming...

On the same day, a Rose-Breasted Grossbeak:

Can't wait to see and hear this bird again.

Strange times here in the Netherlands. Far reaching measures because of the corona virus: everybody has been asked to work at home if possible (except people working in healthcare), all sports events have been cancelled, a number of museums have closed, no gatherings of more than 100 people, churches and mosques have cancelled services, and we've been told not to visit elderly people etc. etc.
Universities and colleges are teaching online, but schools are to remain open for the time being unless absolutely impossible (sick teachers, people who keep their children at home resulting in half-empty classes). All this till 31 March at least.

I've never ever experienced anything like this. It's unsettling, scary even. (
