I drilled a hole through the top of the Shepard's Hook for attachments. First I attached the stick using a deck type screw, but I couldn't get the screw tight enough. It just acted like a weather vane, twisting in the wind. I removed the deck screw, drilled a hole through the branch and installed a machine screw and a nylon locknut. I'm able to torque down on it and it holds the position I move it to (for better lighting if needed).

This is the last persimmon on the tree for 2020. And this Tui was stopping evryone from having a piece





Following the discussion on sharpening I used the display sharpening tool in the Nik special effects suite with some local success. The bokeh ooks a bit odd now but that could be also due to raised ISO as the day was cloudy and the shutter speed needed to be higher to capture this very busy bird clearly.
