Macros of flowers seem always to concentrate on the reproductive structures, unless the flower itself is tiny and requires macro to see well.

Hmm… good point. Maybe I will try some macro shots of petals, thorns, or leaves of interesting flowers. Although, I think the reproductive parts of flowers seem to be the most interesting with varied detail. We’ll see! Thanks for the idea!

And stacking to get it all is quite time consuming! Nice detail.

De nada.

Spent four years learning some Spanish in grade school, but essentially no opportunity or reason to use it for over 50 years it's a wonder I remember any of it.

English is both an interesting and horrid language. It's such a mixture of influences = Celtic, Gallic, Norse, early French, Latin plus random borrowing from multiple other languages. How many other languages run national spelling bees? And the grammar is about as inconsistent as possible without making the spoken word a random walk through a dictionary. It has exasperated me ever since I had to speak beyond "Da, Da, Ma, Ma."

I truly get it. As I like to tell folks, "The only foreign language I studied in school is English."
