Poignent Flower

I'd like to add my shot of a Poppy flower, appropriate just now as we approach Remembrance Day.

That's some mighty fine focus when you can count the pollen grains on the stamens of a flower! Well done, my friend.

Thanks very much, mind you I had a little help from my "Femme Fatale" (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro) too.

Another zinnia, different color. Shot with K-5, same lens and setup as the other one.
A very interesting capture. It looks like it could be a fancy dish served at an expensive restaurant! Superb focus.... sharp as a tack. Nothing in the photography world will EVER replace good, sharp focus. Many photos are ruined by less than optimum focus, IMHO. I don't bother keeping any of mine unless it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and is something of great importance.

Playing with color

Water drops, a Sigma 28-80mm 1:2 macro and a pink flower.... with lots of PP!
