Friends invited me to photograph their dahlias. Below are a few of the dozens of images I captured with my K-S2 and SMC Pentax-M Macro 1:4 100mm. Sometimes a Vivitar 20mm extension also was used.
Some of my photos from that shoot are in other threads, and I plan to post others at Flickr.

K3 and DA40 with +4 close up filter - a good compromise when travelling light

K-1 & SMC MACRO-TAKUMAR F4 100mm (M42)

Thought I'd see what the old Tak would do with the K-1. Greens were desaturated in original files, so required PP.

The first image was shot at F4. The second was shot at F13. Both are cropped.

The third image is a actual pixel crop of the one above it that was shot at F13. All are handheld, so would have
been sharper with a tripod.
