Central parts of flowers, stamens & pistils, are always intriguing.

Into the Unknown.

Unknown because it was a gift to my wife. Neither of us knows what it is. Shot with the HD DA 35mm Macro LTD on a K-70. Cropped a bit.

If a Pentaxian does flowers, sooner or later they'll try a shot like this of hibiscus.

Thank you so much TT, and I will repeat that I enjoy all your flower images even if I don't take the trouble to post a comment.

Here's an alternate shot of hibiscus reproductive bits (am I being a voyeur? should I label this "not work safe??" )

The two feather seed heads, especially the very last image, are really special.

Tamron Adaptall-2 200/3.5 Close - focusing telephoto (04A) at f 13 and +/- 2 m, camera lying on some brick (closest focus setting is 1,7 m). While the photo below is not a true macro this lens is also OK when used with extension tube or deglassed Adaptall teleconverter 01F (lens body is quite short, sharp/sharpish enough with good bokeh).
