Here are two clematis and raindrops images captured with my tripod-mounted K-S2 and older SMC Pentax Macro 1:4/100. (I love that lens.)
The first image is June's Jewels. The second image is Raindrop Jewels on Clematis' Back. I welcome your comments, criticism and preferences.

for what it is worth

I like 1 better just a little bit better because of the way it is cropped showing the contrast between the target and the oof areas

but

there is nothing wrong with the image of # 2

very nice photos IMHO

That is very pretty, and a good eye to see the image. The lens has given the overall image an O'Keeffian look.
