Eye of the Storm! Post your lightning/Dangerous weather photos!

A thread for photographs of those adrenaline inducing weather events. Got some lightning shots, seen a mothership, love it when the sky goes green or duck egg blue. Have you thought about buying a lightning trigger?
Share your photos and your stories here.

Here are a couple of my favourite shots to get started.

Ok, I'll bite.
This is the only attempt I made so far at photographing lightning, and it's pretty lame (didn't have a tripod, held the camera as bettere as I could on a railing in strong wind with 30" poses), but hey at least I tried!
Will try again with a proper tripod (now that I have one) and a better camera (check!) as soon as I can.

Nice work Folks, any lighting strike capture is post worthy, I also like hail curtains. Went high contrast on this photo to make them stand out!

A couple of photos of a storm that brought heavy wind and rain, but fortunately no tornado.

In Northeastern New Mexico, where the Rocky Mountains meet the plains summer thunderstorms are a common occurrence. Here are a couple shots I took this past summer.

This was a little scary since my wife and I were about a mile and a half from home on bicycles, we beat the storm.
