As it turns out, I am absent traveling, and out of touch - I will be using my DSLR the old way, bringing back my travel shots and "developing" them at home early next year.

Best wishes to all, and a Merry Christmas.

Albert

Enjoy the trip Albert looking forward to the shots in the new year ( I'm processing some shots from 2006-2008 lately so you're way faster than me

Happy travelling and a merry Christmas, Albert! I think Christmas is a great time to be offline, really.

Oh, and in case the rest of you looked for the posting thread for the fourth day, I accidentally posted it as "Thematic" instead of "Photo Game". Corrected now.

My shot from yesterday is still in the camera, I'll post yesterday and today tonight, most of my shots last night had nothing to do with Christmas, we had a drizzling misty night and i walksed the dog through a more industrial area - got some great non Christmas shots i think Christmas i shot in the mall on the way to the streetcar.

Welcome whk1992! Thanks for joining! Please keep posting!

Beautiful photos, I wouldn't mind seeing more Seattle Christmas - snow or no snow.

I spent the fall of 2009 in Seattle with my family, visiting UW, and we had such a great time - particularly my oldest son who was eight at the time: He is usually a shy introvert boy, but the people we met were so open and welcoming and the Seattle way of life just agreed with him- I think he had the time of his life during those months. When I showed him your photos yesterday he said "I feel homesick!" (Which is something, since he only spent three months of his life there... )

We had a bit of snow and a lot of frost leading up to Christmas in Seattle back in 2009, but I guess your winter isn't any more wintery than ours this year.

Come on someone? Snow photos?

I'm glad that you and your son enjoy my photos.

It's definitely warmer this year, which is what I like anyway. High forties is nice; any colder will be uncomfortable (mostly because I'll need to put on bulky fluffy clothes.) I'm not from Seattle. The place that I grew up is much warmer.

Go Huskies!

Right, I am going to post the 11th day posting thread a bit early: It is past midnight now, so technically it is December 24th here, and tomorrow everything will be madly busy getting ready for Christmas Eve. Which also means that my own image for the 11th day will most likely not be posted until Christmas morning.

But - Eddie, you suggested carrying this on into the "actual 12 days" - in case you are still up for that, and anyone else thinks it would be fun, I am still in. Tomorrow is the big feat in Denmark: After tomorrow night everything is going to be a lot more relaxed, and I will have time to put a bit more effort into the actual shots as well. We might want to keep it to just the flickr albums / group though? That way we could just keep adding Christmas shots to the albums / group for the next 12 days as well?
