These are from a state park in Gippsland, Victoria, called Avon-Mt Hedrick. The views are towards the ranges to the west and north. The trees are mostly Silvertop Ash (a eucalypt); the branches at the top where the bark peels away catch the evening light beautifully.

Just get one! I rented the 15mm for a trip to Yosemite last year and within a month of returning I bought a very good used copy. A very large percentage of my favorite pictures over the past year have been taken with that lens.
