And this is nice as well. Just our of curiousity: is the halo around Venus caused by moisture in the atmosphere or this is a processing artifact?
Thanks, HoutHans, the effect is not from processing, but due to refraction via the ice crystals in the thin layer of clouds.

All the better! I haven't seen many halos around here lately. The upper atmosphere is just not cold enough.

Today was a day when snow was predicted but, apparently, stayed to our southwest and never reached us (at least as of 9:00PM). The end result was one of the most colorful sunsets that I've ever seen! K-3III and HD DA 16-85mm.

Much less extreme sunset tonight, but with clouds, contrails and the moon. K-3III and HD DA 16-85mm at an ISO of 5000.
