But I ordered a GR and it will arrive any minute now so I am pretty sure I will be distracted....
Shoot the GR for the month.. it counts

I'm still waffling between the Bower 35mm f1.4 and the Samyang 85mm f1.4.

I want to conquer that 85mm (it seems to have a bit of a learning curve), but I also want to let that 35mm run. Its an absolutely amazing close focus bokeh lens, as well as great for general running around with (aside from the weight... good gravy).

The caveat for both the 35 and the 85 are of course size. Both lenses are huge, especially for primes. I'm not certain, but that 35mm may actually weigh more than my old school 'height of the 80's all metal everything' Sears 75-260mm does.

I'm going to skip the F35-70 until sometime this summer I think (its a nice small lens, and will be great for stomping about the woods with).

Just to show what I mean by huge...

Thats the Pentax-M 50mm f1.4 between the 35mm and the 85mm here. They weigh as much as they look like they would.

Pick the 35, it's the one I haven't seen in "Single in" in last couple of months or years(?)

Seconding Matt on this one. Play with your new toy and participate in the Single Challenge.

(I believe I did last May with my GRD3.)

Holy growth hormone, that other lens looks like an infant lens compared to those.

After my shot today, I'm going with the Tamron Adaptall 90mm f2.8 Macro. The 28-80mm is a bit short for shooting those wasps, I don't like having to get too close to them.

Hmm that gives me an idea, and you could join in too, mtux. How about throwing down a head-to-head challenge, and we both use the DA21? Anyone else can join in too, of course, we could have a month of the Roaring 20's!
