I have some family health issues that derail me at times and these take priority but when things are not crazy I am motivated and interested in participating. I really value your input and support and I appreciate the time you take to look at my shots and give feedback. I always attempt to do likewise even if my shooting is derailed. I'll probably use a 50mm this month as well, I've got some filters I want to dust off and try out on a DSLR.

After a few months of a break I'm in with one of my 50mm this month, too. And the themes look good to me. Although I still can't believe you guys actually are still doing belfies.

Should be fun to see a whole bunch of 50mm lenses being used. I have my classic M50mm 1.7 and an A50mm 2, and perhaps another 50mm hiding away somewhere.

Looking forward to being a part of the group again.

My dad and I are trading lenses for a while. He is taking my DA* 50-135 and I am taking his DA* 200... wondering if I should stay with the F 50 1.7 or use the 200 2.8...

Edit: I am (despite my temptation to quit because it's "challenging" sometimes) IN for May... I am currently torn on lens choice. The whole month of April with FA43 I was craving wide angle (as you can probably tell from all my stitching), but the only wide angle I haven't played in SIC before is Tamron 18-250.

Then there is my new to me FA80-320 that I want to play SIC with at some point... At least going with that lens would (I would hope) force me to put on a wide angle lens when I want a wide angle image rather than being "lazy" and stitching all the time... (Of course then I'll find myself doing a ton of Brenizers, despite it not being a fast lens...)

Then there is my new to me A50/1.4... Would be fun to go 'fitty' with y'all but at the moment am feeling ready for a break from that focal length for the merry month of May...

It'll be one of these three...

Loaded up my camera the other night, and chose B&W film. Then I checked and saw that the first several theme days are colours. Oops.

(I'll just use a blue filter on Saturday then, and call it close enough. )

Are you shooting and developing same day or next day to play film shots in the challenge?! Or maybe developing once per week or whatever then playing them retroactive?
