More traveling 'farm' animals. This time bison on the Belwin Conservancy land on the eastern edge of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. The bison live on the prairie restoration for the summer and then head back to their home farm for the winter. Interesting to see them but usually they are too far from the observation area to get a good photo. For once they came a bit closer.

I think cattle get bored. A stranger going by is probably a highlight. Fine shot Stephen.

Dorpers in the lower Tarwin Valley, South Gippsland, Victoria. KP + DA 55-300 PLM. Used to be all merinos and merino-crosses around here, but a number of farmers have shifted to meat breeds like these.

Open range at Summer Lake, Oregon.

I love driving through this area. It's always so beautiful, and hardly anyone drives there. Well, okay, I did face heavy traffic passing through there once a couple of years ago...
