Hi Folks

My wife and I very recently started a photography business - photographing children/maternity/babies.

We are running a contest this month (with an idea that I borrowed from the user "Syb")....

The prize isn't big, as we are just starting out, however I thought the posters here on this forum might enjoy the challenge. We'd love to see some imagination!

Awesome ftpaddict!

The pic doesn't have to be about spoon(s), it just has to have one in it (that is visible). The photo can be of anything - as long as it has a "G" rating (i.e. no nudes, etc.).

Can't wait to see what people come up with!

I couldn't shoot nudes even if I wanted to. No girls willing to pose!

Not to worry, I'll submit something for sure, though it'll probably be in the weekend, because that's when I have time to set up and experiment.

I may have missed it, but I don't see any size restrictions or requirements for the entries. What size do you want emailed to you?

Size doesn't matter. I will likely compress the image a little for posting on the blog page, but will keep the full image for printing purposes (if you are the winner).

Forgot to ask. We get to keep ownership of the photo, right? I'm very iffy about this issue.

Absolutely Dan. I will just be hosting your photo on our blog for a few weeks (for purposes of voting), and then will be sending the winning entry to be printed (Silvano's in Toronto, Canada). Shortly after the contest is over your entry will be deleted from our blog.

The original submitter will obtain ownership of the photo at all times.

I hope that information helps.

You most certainly can. I got your email and will post the shot tomorrow. My wife is currently on the business computer editing a shoot from yesterday....so I'm relegated to scoping the forums on my ancient laptop.
