Well, using the magic searching powers of Flickr I've been able to determine that Matt did a Single in November 2014 with the DA 70, Torbin did one in October 2015, and one other guy did it in May 2015 Bill I believe.

Let's see how far this will go...
I inserted my own data. I'll try and keep track of changes, but PM me if there's an error.

Yeah. No superfluous H on "Sara". :-P

And I think I'm committing to the M35/2.8.

Ordered a DA 20-40 limited yesterday. It will probably be waiting for me when I'm back from holiday in Bulgaria with my family. So that will be my lens for July.

I compared it with the DA21 and DA40 in February 2013. I'm not sure if it has been "Singled" since.

Well since you put it that way... It (A 28mm) definitely moves up the list... Andrew is possibly going with same lens too...

So I've narrowed down to:
A 50/1.4
A 28/2.8

Would just go with A 28 but am in the mood for the fast aperture... 28mm does sound good too though... I haven't shot this lens even once yet and it's in pristine condition... (Both the above are actually...)

Go with the 28mm! I'm probably going to follow Sara' s suggestion of the 10-20. (Mainly because I feel like a break from manual focusing at the moment. )

Torn between Sears Auto 55/1.4, Sigma EX DG 28/1.8 or the Super-Takumar 50/1.4 8 element.

Not so sure about that. I won't be able to blame the lens if you post fabulous shots and I post turds. I'll think on it.

Ok. Thought about it. I'll shoot the 28/1.8. I can shoot the 50/1.4 8 element on the weekends along with my SIN lense. I keep the M42 mount on my K500 and shoot K mounts on my K3, for now.

I'll wait on the 55/1.4 so we can be SIN buddies.

Am still thinking about the 28-70, but it's not inspiring any excitement/love. I did however have a thought about my Q with the auto 110 28mm lens on it... Hrmmm.... problem is - it's not going to be wide enough.

thinking thinking........

As I indicated above, the DA 70 has been singled at least 3 times in the past year.

Actually this question sorta calls out for a Single in data base. It would be a bit of work to sort through the SI challenges going back to 2010 but it could be done. It might be nice to know what's been done before and possibly by who. OTOH, not sure what it would really mean either as these challenges are actually more personal than you might think. Anyway, it's worth a thought or two.
