The Enterprise moored in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY, while waiting for us to start the first Around Long Island Race, later that day, in 1977. Pentax ME and 50mm/ƒ1.7 lens on Kodacolor II film.

Another trimaran moored following the finish of the first Around Long Island Race in 1977. They won the multihull division on elapsed time. We won the division (in Enterprise) on corrected (handicapped) time. Pentax ME and 50mm/ƒ1.7 lens.

FYI, the term for "lean" is "heel" in the world of sailing. So, the boat in the second picture is said to be heeling; in this case, heeling to port.
