Post-Processing Challenge #154

Welcome to Post-Processing Challenge #154!

Thank you SointulArt for challenge #153 !

Sorry i kept you waiting. I will compensate by extra time for this challenge, it's the middle of the summer after all

I remember one previous panorama-merging pp-challenge. Now with Camera Raw 9 (and LR 6/CC) you can merge panos there and save to dng.
This scene was today, it just started to rain when i shot this handheld 3-shot pano. Shot with K-5, M-28mm f/2.8 at f/8.
I will only give you Camera raw's merged image (no other sliders touched) so you can go right on postprocessing.

The challenge challenge will close at midnight 31st of july. (when last timezone passed midnight to 1st of aug)

DNG File
Hopefylly a more More compatible DNG * (See post #10)
Reduced size 16 bit TIFF (4000 px wide)
Reduced size 8 bit JPEG (4000 px wide)

Wait? What? You can merge DNG files??? NICE. I am going to have to learn how to do that.

I downloaded the .dng file but could not open it in CS2 or Pentax Utility 5. Working with .tif.

It is such a fun image to work with. I just could not help myself. Thanks Lars

Just had to add one with a frame.

Thanks for hosting LarsW. I decided to brighten things up a little with this image. processed in Lightroom 5 and PS CS4 and Topaz Clarity, with some minor tweaks to curves afterwards.

I added a dng version that i hope is more compatible with other software than latest LR/CC versions. (converted with DNG converter)

A straight laced version from the tif... Neither DNG's would open correctly in Rawtherapee... I'll come back to this if I come up with a creative idea. Thought about going blue or night sky which would be doable but the amount of work to get the water looking believable is another story! Might still go for it when I have the energy, since you've given us ample time...
