NOT a house cat, although there are still people foolish enough to think if they start with a lion or tiger cub......Ignorant beyond reason.

Absolutely gorgeous! And so unusual, a female red cat! Most red cats are male, something to do with the genetics, sex-linked traits, etc. (same reason most 3-colored cats are female). I'd make it a challenge, to touch her and win her over...it would take time and patience, but the reward would be incredible!

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes, I'm delighted to report that Punkin got an excellent report from the vet today. the eye ulcer is healed! This is what she looks like when she's more or less awake...she's a senior kitty so she snoozes a lot, even without the sedation. But we're all celebrating the end of the wrestling and eye drops! (this isn't a current image)

I do like that cat and that image. Shallow focus works really well to bring drama to a pretty kitty.
