Little sunny has taken to sleeping with her toys, she only seems to do this when my other cat Tigger isn't around.

That's very sweet! Long ago, I had a cat who, when very young, carried one of his toys with him at all times. He would set it down beside the food dish only long enough to eat his meal, then pick it up again and carried it to his next destination. He slept with it, too. Eventually the toy simply disintegrated from constant mouthing.

True, although his bed was in the guest bedroom, that's where he'd sleep when he got tired of us!

Indeed. Ours all have their own kitty-beds in other parts of the house. But a couple of them spend at least a little time on the hooman-bed. Until, of course, there are too many disturbances to their naps, at which point we get the side-eye and they stalk indignantly out to another snooze-spot where they won't be rousted.

Of course if you follow the--well their--rules, and if you stay totally stock still and breathe shallowly, you can avoid the aggrieved stare and the grumpy stalking out of the room. So it is YOUR fault, of course.
