Oh, yes...yes! clothes -- or freshly laundered bed linen -- pile on the bed = instant cat lounge! Absolutely!

Handsome kitty. Inevitably she reminds me of Morris, as any marmalade tabby will.

Thanks, cats are very pretty. And pets always leave a mark in our memories.

Alas, this morning we said farewell to the grand old dame of the outside gang, she of the strange name "Bootie Bear". She had been with us for years and years, delivered several litters before TNR in 2015. In fact she was Panda's mama. This is an image of her from several years ago. Sleep in Peace, little mama...

My sincere condolences. She was beautiful and you helped her to live a better life once fixed.

Thanks very much. She was definitely spoiled, in many ways the grande dame of the outside colony, alpha kitty. We will miss her, although I suspect at least a few of the gang will not. They'll have to jockey for top spot now, I have my bets on two of them...her sister, Bea ("little witch"), and dowager Roxy (unrelated, but a force in her own right, and mama-cat to about 3/4 of the kitties in the colony). We realized, about 2 weeks ago, that Bootie Bear was probably nearing her final journey, so we tried to protect her and make sure she had a special food plate. Last night she lay down for a final nap and passed peacefully.

2 months ago my brother and his partner adopted a new kitty named Milo. Unfortunately, Milo had intestinal parasites and had to be quarantined for over a month during treatment.

Happily, he is good to go now, and is a little perpetual motion machine! He's about 2˝ years old and a small boi - only 8 lbs. He is friendly and playful and rarely meows; his primary vocalization is a little warble when excited. I finally got meet him yesterday...

(I'm posting photos linked over from micro43.org, hopefully it works okay)

Thank you all for the wonderful cat photos! As I posted earlier, I am currently “catless”, and viewing this thread makes it easier to bear!

He is gorgeous and looks super friendly. My wife wanted a gray cat for our first pet but I fell in love with a calico (Lexy). Funny thing, Lexy adores my wife, she's her chosen one.
