Tank: So what do you need? Besides a miracle.
Neo: Cats. Lots of cats.

Wasn't really sure where to post it.
I took it to see what I could get out of the k5 at very low natural light.

My Sonny at an ISO of 51200 in the dark basement - it was really darker then it appears here...

Thanks. It took a lot of pp to get the WB and noise decent.

Sonny is our last cat. We have had cats for over 40 years now and have loved them all. At one time we had 5 in the house.
Sonny was a barn cat. We visited the farm one day and when we got home there was Sonny hiding under the car seat. We had left the window down. We already had two cats but we took him in anyway.
He was about 5 years old as a barn cat so he has remained semi-feral with us - pet but do not hold - he does not like to feel confined but he loves attention from us otherwise. He is not a lap pet.
He's a superb mouser and keeps the place neat and tidy of anything he deems foreign to "his" domain.

A quick snapshot with the little Canon S95....

I bet Sonny really appreciates the love and care you give him. I've found ferals/strays often make the greatest pets because they know how hard life can be without humans.

OMG, a cat thread! Being a crazy cat guy, I love all your photos. Will sort through my "Cats" folder and post a few of Big Ben and Sadie, with maybe a few of past loves and visiting Sarah (who loves to stare inside at the patio door and tease our two cats). Paulh, your post caught my eye and thanks. Your Kitty is beautiful. Striped tabby coloring is very cool. My Sadie is a gray and brown "Torbie", a tabby with tortoise shell splotches. Big Ben is orange. Photos will be posted.

Thanks Lori - he was a beautiful cat, but with a bit of a wild streak in him! Our latest, Doc, is *my* cat, 100% - I'm the only one he stays with in the house. Lucky me

A chalk rendering of our cat Ringo, who passed away in February.
A female dog took care of him while he was a kitten so it was like he was part dog.

Happy.(มีความสุข)

100 percent traditional Thai cat.. In a previous incarnation he was obviously one of the past kings of Siam.
A very powerful, intelligent, dominant alpha male who was only subservient to the Lord Buddha. I was not his owner but, rather, part of his staff.
Very talkative, loyal and demanding of my attention. But he did have his soft side. When we brought Sonny in he immediately accepted him and they become close friend always looking out the window and sleeping together. Sonny was the only other creature he ever fully accepted besides us.

After 21 years we lost him about a year ago. I still grieve for him. I loved him beyond all understanding.

I had posted this photo of my mostly Maine Coon in the "Post your most 3-d looking pictures!" forum, but I wanted to share him here as well. He poses patiently when I use my Pentax K-01, making it quite easy to get some good shots.

The top bunk of my son's bed is a favorite afternoon nap locale. (x-posted in FA ltd club)
