Cookie is growing up! I think she will be a big girl, eventually. Her paws are too big for her right now, and her tail is extra-long. When she does reach her full growth, Chica had better look out! (still chasing, but with a little less vigor) BTW the blue part is the edge of a lawn chair.

Tigger has to personally sniff and examine every bit of firewood I bring into the house..

I'm seriously considering he might have been raised by a dog. He has managed to escape the house on a few occasions ( He's an indoor kitty) and I have always managed to catch him because of his compulsive habit of sniffing things.

When we lived in Mass and had a fireplace, one of our cats acted the same way.
Of course, mice nested in the wood pile sometime.

He's probably marking it, too -- "Mine! Other cats beware!" Presumably he rubs his face on it after the sniffs

Our indoor cats all periodically mark stuff -- like my laptop monitor -- that have been in the house for years.

Taking a few photos in the garden just now, I always have a helper close at hand.

She is a big fan of the wild approach to gardening.

Boo Cat in her element -- in bed with Papi. This is her absolute favorite thing to do...if one of us goes into the hallway leading to the bedroom, she flies ahead and leaps onto the bed, chirping and cooing, "Yayyyy! Snuggle Time!"

Dexter's Dinner

Introducing Dexter. He and his sister Stella are rescue Sphynx Cats that now run our house and allow us to live here. We've never had cats before, and now into the deep end of the pool!

Welcome, Dexter, Stella and Joel!

You'll do fine with them...just remember the old adage, "dogs have masters, cats have staff"

Thanks for the rescue! All of our cats are rescues. It's A Good Thing!

Dodger was being particularly angelic (which he isn’t but being cute means he gets away with it):

My wife was using the printer from the other room using a wireless connection,
which really confused Annie.
