One Man & His Dog

It's like the TV show... but different.

I had not noticed in prior images of Frida, but that kitty has some impressively long whiskers.

Yes she does! Her whole coat plus whiskers is/are very luxurious. Much nicer now than when we first brought her home.

This is a rare capture of surviving a quick pet of this cat outdoors. Usually she is nuts, neither letting you get too close or managing a pat for too long before feeling her full wrath! The fact I caught it here with camera signifies my arrival as a true professional photographer, there is no more difficult or dangerous assignment than this!

The family of one of my daughter's best friends had a cat named Ripple. It would lie on its back and purr, and purr louder if you stroked its tummy, rubbing its head back and forth on the floor as cats will do when happy, then without any warning it would turn into, as I liked to put it, an over-tight mitten lined with fish hooks.

Out in the morning light today Toto turned up for some attention, would of been rude not to grab a few shots.

Yep, she's one of those ones, our ginger tabby is the polar opposite however and is lovely and gentle.

OK...I'm bored. Took this 15 second exposure in a dark living room lit only by a computer screen across the room. Garrus never moved...

WAS a good post processing exercise. White balance in particular. Click pic for EXIF but basically 100mm "Ltd.", f2.8, 15 seconds, ISO=200.

From her expression and attitude, it looks like she doesn't know it's a "walk" - she clearly thinks it's a "hunt".
