My wife and I played through it. Steam says it took me 9 hours. There was no rush and there was a bit of downtime as we discussed strategy. She's started a second play through to get all of the Achievements. Although the game says it's best with a controller, I played through just fine with keyboard & mouse (I own a Razer controller, I just prefer keyboard & mouse). My wife prefers a controller and did fine too.

I'll definitely be picking up Stray during a Steam sale at some point.

No controller here either. I did rebind a lot of the keys to make operations easier and the nice thing is that when you do, the game show your chosen rebindings on screen rather than the defaults. Common enough programming, these days, but nice to see.

The way she curls up, you'd think Annabelle was part millipede.

Poor Miss Punkin, currently undergoing treatment for a corneal (eye) ulcer. Course of two different eye drops, several times a day. It's amazing how one small skinny cat needs two adult humans to wrestle with her to administer the drops...the only remedy is mild sedation. So she's not a little groggy and snoozy, and has claimed R's bedpillow for her current sleep-it-off spot. Interesting, as he's the main wrestler (I administer the meds), you'd think she would avoid anything to do with him. But no, she climbs up on the bed and crashes on his pillow, sleeps there all day long. This image taken with R's Iphone.

And after all that trauma, she's still smiling.

Yeah, she's settling into the routine. This isn't the first time we've had to do this, she developed a similar (but worse, according to the vet) ulcer about 3 years ago. That treatment regimen involved a bunch more meds, as I recall, three different drops and an ointment, plus the sleepy-stuff. With the sedation, she isn't too squirmy, and she goes right back to bed afterwards. But I'm sure we'll pay for it, once she's back to normal. Funny, in all the years she's lived inside with us, to my knowledge she's never before slept on the bedpillows. She does occasionally sleep on the bed -- her fave spot is lying on my hip or R's -- but not anywhere near the pillows.Cats be strange, neh?

Thanks. As I just noted to Walt, this isn't the first time we've had to treat her for a corneal ulcer. Looks really scary, but she recovered completely the last time. It took a couple of weeks, at least, maybe as long as three weeks, of meds for it to heal. I know -- now -- what it looks like, we got her to the vet sooner than the last time, so I'm hopeful that this one will heal sooner. Hard to tell early in the treatment, but I think it looks a little better today. I'll know more later when it's time for the next eye-drop wrestling session in a couple of hours. Meanwhile the snoozy-med keeps her comfy, we don't disturb her when she's sleeping, on or off the pillow. It's quiet and semi-dark in the bedroom, the other cats don't bother her, either. So I'm hopeful that it goes well this time. Will keep everyone posted, of course!

Punkin update...just got back from the vet, she says everything is healing VERY well, all good news. But it isn't completely healed yet, so more eye drops for at least a few more days, got another follow-up with the vet next week. So far, so good! (we checked the chart and last time, it took nearly a month to clear up. I told the vet, now that I know how it starts, the minute I see her eye all pink and weepy, I'll start the tobramycin and call you right away...vet said, "exactly the right thing to do!")

<heh> One does wonder how the keepers/vets manage it when a patient like this needs a course of meds every 6-8 hours...orally in food, not a big deal, but eye drops?! Unfortunately in our case the antibiotic drops are specific for the ailment, so oral antibiotics won't do. I wish they could, it would make this ordeal a lot simpler. I hate having to wrestle her in order to administer the drops, even with the mild sedation. But we're making progress and we've devised a compromise on the bed pillow situation, so she has her snooze-pillow and we have ours. More or less, anyway
