Okay, so I was rummaging around in my dad's old office and I found a 49mm 720nm IR filter. Since my designated lens for August is unlikely to actually arrive until Monday, I'll make up for photos lost last month on the Vivvy this weekend with some IR fun.

The hype doesn't go close to describing how amazing it was. Stalk her posts on facebook from 26th June and check out the photos and her comments....

Thanks Sandy for the offer to come to your house. Unfortunately, like Uncle, I don't even play the lottery, my money goes for lenses, cameras, and food; and in that order. LOL

EDIT: I might use my new K-x for half the month. I just bought a new/used Storm trooper model. Less than 9000 clicks on it.

Mind if I jump in for August? Been quite some time. A year, at least, since I've posted a photo to flickr, or so I was reminded. Sort of lost my interest, but, I'm becoming inspired again. Took a quick look around July and lots of great images being thrown down. So, looking forward to sharing images with you guys again.
I have a K35/3.5 that I'm lovin' and a K28/3.5 which I might use simply because it's on the camera and I love it, too.

Think I will try again. But stay with the Q7 and maybe try the 06 lens which I have not fallen in love with at all.
My photos are always jpegs (snap shot ) and I only use photscape to adjust the white balance (has a nice one touch button) or level and add some sharpness.
I am not much of a critic, I like a photo or not but dont really look into why.

I like this idea and don't know why I don't do it more. Keeps things fun and less of a chore later.

Decided on the M50/4 macro but that may be short lived. Many of today's attempts were overexposed leading me to believe it may have sticky aperture blades..... If problems still persist tomorrow, I reserve the right to change lenses! I have enough problems with manual focusing and exposure without also dealing with a damaged lens!
